I’m Bec, the eye behind the camera of R Henderson Photography. Mum to two beautiful gentle natured children, Jye 11 and Ava 9.

I am a positive person and am easily pleased. I believe in putting my faith and family first, enjoying the little moments and not taking things too seriously.

I am at my happiest in summer, near water or on holidays. I enjoy keeping busy, doing and trying new things, seeing new places and meeting new people. I LOVE all types of food, spending time with family and friends having a joke and laugh until my stomach hurts.

My love for my own children is what ignited my desire to photograph babies and children. I have been photographing newborns, babies, families, maternity, events & Weddings since 2010.

I enjoy all types of photography, but there is one that I am especially passionate about; Newborns. There is nothing more beautiful than those first few weeks of life. I understand how important this special time is and I take each session with safety first and great attention to detail.

Each year I’ve gotten older, the months and years seem to be going by much faster. I know all too well how easy it can be to forget all those special moments, without having something to look back on and for that reason I feel personally responsible to capture as many memories as I can each session and go that extra mile to freeze those moments in time so that in 5, 10, 20 years from now I can look back and remember each and every detail, feel the flood of emotions and smile.
